Fan-fiction seems to be something that comes naturally to the fanbases of "less than sophisticated" media. Supposedly the fan's creative urge is sparked by the object of their fandom, but they lack the creativity to come up with anything new. In any case, fans of Planet Zebeth have created a lot of fan fiction for it over the years.
