You can play one of six games/apps/whatever. One of these six allows you to virtually alter (primarily raising and lowering the terrain it seems) whatever surface that card is placed on.

edit: oh, I guess it would make it easier to figure out the normal vector of the surface to be raised/lowered

the whole point of altered reality is that you can interact with it realistically

 

if it's just in the middle of the viewport then you can't walk around it, or stand above it to look down on it, or pick it up and manipulate it, or so on. The point is not to simple create a fancy effect, but to create an effect as though it existed in the real world.

Jesus Christ. That Japan video reminded me of Katamari. At first its just "aw how cute a little water pushing along some scraps of paper" and then before you know it its tearing houses along in its wake.

Yeah, watching other videos of it it didn't seem as bad. But it's still a game about hurling babies that is filled with bad double entendres.
